Create/Edit Discounts

To create a discount, you must first be signed in as a Manager or Administrator
Once you are logged in, click on the 'Manager' tab on the left then click on 'Discounts' at the bottom right
Here you can add, edit, or delete discounts
You can click on the pencil icon next to a discount to edit it
You can click on the cancel icon next to a discount to delete it
Click the '+ Add New Discount' button on the top left to create a new discount

You will now see the 'Add New Discount' window
Fill in your description, choose a discount type, and enter your amount/rate as a whole number (Ex: Enter 50 for 50% off, not .50)
There are three main discount types: Fixed, Dollar, and Percent
​ Fixed: Amount is fixed at this rate
​ Dollar: Specific dollar discount off original price
​ Percent: Specific percent discount off original price

Once you are done, click on 'Add New Discount' on the top right.
This discount will now appear in your list.

​ Apply Discounts

There are two main types of discounts that can be applied to a sale: Individual Item discounts and Transaction level discounts
To apply a transaction level discount you will want to click on the '%' symbol at the bottom of the screen
To apply an item level discount, you will want to click on the '%' symbol next to the item

In this example, we are discounting the transaction
Click on the '%' icon at the bottom of the screen and the 'Discount Transaction' window will appear
Simply click on any of the preconfigured discounts to apply it to your transaction

In this example we applied 10% off to the entire transaction, notice the filter at the top of the sale: 10% off

To apply an individual item discount, click on the '%' symbol next to the item
The 'Discount Item' window will appear
Simply click on any of the preconfigured discounts to apply it to your transaction

In this example we discounted the 'Apples to Apples' board game by $4.00, the price dropped from $19.79 to $15.79
When you have finished applying discounts, click on the green 'Pay' button at the bottom and complete your sale as you normally would

Once the transaction is complete, you will see the onscreen receipt where you can either email or print a copy for your customer
Please notice how item level discounts and transaction level discounts appear on your receipt
Item level discounts appear under the original item
Transaction level discounts appear as 'Discount Savings' at the bottom of the receipt
