How to clean up Rx Watch if too many rx’s are in system.

This article will show you how to clean up Rx Watch if too many rx’s are in system.

 

  • Go to File->Data File Utilities->Collection of Utilities

  • Remember to backup the database first. These actions are permanent. This should be done after hours with everyone logged out of Pk.

  • Select the Prescriptions tab.

  • Select the “Rxs: Delete items from Rx Watch by date” selection.

  • Enter the date range to delete. It is good to go back 3 years for the start and 2 months for the end dates.

  • You should then be able to go into Activities->Rx Watch and add a new status for SWIFTRX.
