Marking an Item as HSA/FSA Eligible

This feature allows merchants to mark specific items as eligible for Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) purchases. Items labeled as HSA/FSA eligible can be purchased using these pre-tax accounts.

This feature is used when you need to update or configure items in your store's inventory to ensure they are properly marked for HSA/FSA eligibility. This helps streamline transactions for customers using these payment methods.

How do I use this feature?

  • Log into CashierLive using your credentials.
  • Navigate to the Managers tab.

  • Search for the item you wish to edit using the search bar.

  • Click the pencil icon next to the item to open the editing screen.

  • Tick the HSA/FSA box.

markHSA

 

  • Click Save to apply the changes and Close if you are done editing the item details.

saveAndClose

The item is now updated as HSA/FSA eligible and will reflect correctly in future transactions.
