- Here are some things you can try if you're having trouble with your Star TSP 100 printer:
- Check the power: Make sure the power cable is connected to the printer and the electrical outlet. If the Ready LED doesn't turn on, the power cable or outlet might not be connected properly.
- Check the paper: Make sure the paper roll is loaded correctly.
- Check the connection: If you're using an ethernet cable, make sure it's plugged into the printer and the router. You can also try changing the cable.
- Check the sleep mode: Make sure your device's sleep mode is off.
- Check the Bluetooth: Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your device.
- Check the internet connection: Make sure your device is connected to the internet.
- Print a sample ticket: Try printing a sample ticket from the Utility App.
- Return to factory defaults: To reset the printer to its factory defaults, you can:
- Turn off the printer
- Turn the printer upside down
- Unscrew the small panel with a Phillips screwdriver
- Push the dip switch #4 to the OFF position
- Turn the printer upright without screwing back the panel
- Turn the printer on and wait 10 to 12 seconds
- Turn the printer off and upside down
